Learning Computing Without a Computer

My journey into the computing world began at an early age, but owning a computer was a distant dream for many years. My only access to a computer was during the four hours a week I spent in computer classes. As a child, my resources were limited to a few booklets from those classes, and convincing my parents to invest in a personal computer was a tough sell. The closest I got was a gaming console that could be connected to our TV.

But this scarcity of access did something remarkable—it fueled my passion. The anticipation for each computer class made my mind race, eager to try out everything I had imagined during the week. In retrospect, these limitations were a blessing in disguise. They taught me a valuable life lesson: Limited resources aren’t an obstacle; they’re an opportunity to discover true passion.

That passion, born out of constraint, has only grown with time, reminding me of its humble beginnings.
